For the start of Wilbur we just refined the recipe, and now went for melamine finish. This surface is much more scratch-proof than the clear coating that we inhouse-tested now for 1 year. For the launch of the Create Berlin products weltunit designed a lampshade in cooperation with Flip Sellin of COORDINATION, Martina Zeyen and Ulrich Merz: CRNKL! The lampshade CRNKL! is a scarf-size piece of recyclable spunbounded fabric with a grid of colored seams and embedded micro-magnets. Wilbur is a tabletop. A product to make the common trestle/rack desks usable for working on a Laptop.
