But lets skip her cryptic explanation and let the president of the Biennale, Paolo Baratta speak:
“The 12th Exhibition wishes to reopen the discussion about architecture and its role in civilization. This discipline must be in a position to accept the challenge of organizing the space of our lives. In this sense, it must address one of the highest problems: the contemporary realization of the res publica”.

ImprovEverywhere are doing public performances, what they call missions. In this experiment they let some 200 “Agents” freeze for 5 minutes in New Yorks Grand Central, and gain some awesome footage from it.
You can participate in a lot of missions for example in the mp3 experiments where particpants follow instructions from an mp3 file in a public gathering place.
Check out the full list of performances and experiments at ImprovEverywhere
My friend Anna tipped me off a while ago that our friend Jim Avignon has a coop going on with the german fashion discounter NewYorker. Ironically so, since he moved from Berlin to NYC last year. His artistic pieces were never to be regarded as expensive, but now you can have a real Jim Avignon and even wear it.
head over to the collection microsite or see the styles after the break
